ICICI Bank has shut down his operations in Sri Lanka after getting approval from the Sri Lankan financial authority. The Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, having thought-about the request made by ICICI Bank, has granted approval to shut down the enterprise operation of the financial institution in Sri Lanka and cancel the licence issued to it.

The Director of Bank Supervision being glad with the financial institution complying with the phrases and circumstances imposed by the Monetary Board, the licence issued to the financial institution to hold on banking enterprise in Sri Lanka is cancelled with impact from October 23, 2020.
