The Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been assigned the extra cost of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution along with his current portfolios, following the loss of life of union minister Ram Vilas Paswan. Goyal is at the moment serving because the Union Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce and Industry.
