Indian boxers Amit Panghal, Sanjeet and Ashish Kumar have gained gold medals on the not too long ago concluded Alexis Valentine International Boxing Tournament held in Nantes, France. The match was the primary worldwide occasion that Indian boxers had been part of because the lockdown.

Amit Panghal:
- Amit Panghal, the silver medalist on the 2019 AIBA World Boxing Championships within the 52 kg-weight classes, overcame the problem from American boxer Rene Abraham.
Sanjeet:
- Sanjeet was up towards France’s Soheb Bouafia within the 91 kg closing bout and produced a medical efficiency to win the highest honours.
Ashish Kumar:
- In the 75 kg weight class, Indian boxer Ashish Kumar gained the gold medal after his opponent from the USA, Joseph Gerome Hiks, gave him a walkover because of damage.
