Ganga Utsav-2020 has been organised by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) collectively with the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The three-day-long Ganga Utsav-2020 has been organised from 02 to 04 November 2020, just about amidst COVID-19 precautions.

The annual occasion is organised to unfold consciousness about river Ganga and the necessity to hold the river clear and rejuvenated. The 2020 version marks the twelfth anniversary of Ganga being accorded the standing of National River, on 4th November 2008.
