‘Hind Kesari’-winning wrestler Sripati Khanchanale passes away

Noted Indian wrestler, Sripati Khanchanale, who had gained the celebrated ‘Hind Kesari’ title in 1959, handed away. In 1959, Khanchanale gained the ‘Hind Kesari’ title by defeating wrestler Rustam-e-Punjab Battasingh on the New Railway Stadium in Delhi.
