Sri Lanka will host the Asia Cup in June 2021 whereas Pakistan has earned the rights to host the match in 2022. As per the unique schedule, the match was speculated to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, nonetheless, it received postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now the occasion has been moved ahead to June 2021, with Sri Lanka Cricket taking the internet hosting rights from PCB. As compensation, PCB has received the internet hosting rights for the 2022 version.
