The interim President of Mali, Bah Ndaw, has named former Malian Foreign Minister Moctar Ouane as the brand new prime minister of Mali. Moctar Ouane has served as Mali’s ambassador to the United Nations from 1995-2002, and as overseas minister from 2004-2009 throughout Amadou Toumani Toure’s presidency.
