In India, the National Police Commemoration Day is noticed on twenty first October yearly. The day is marked to recollect and honour the courageous policemen who’ve laid down their lives within the line of responsibility.

History of National Police Commemoration Day:
On 21 October 1959, twenty Indian troopers had been attacked by Chinese troops in Ladakh’s Hot Spring space, wherein, ten Indian policemen misplaced their lives and 7 had been imprisoned. Since that day, 21 October has been noticed as Police Commemoration Day in honour of the martyrs.
