Noted Odia poet, Nityanand Nayak will probably be conferred the distinguished Sarala Puraskar for his poetry work ‘Setebelaku Nathiba’, revealed in 2017. The poet will probably be felicitated with a money award of `5 lakh and a quotation.
Two different eminent personalities from the State – Ranjit Kumar Nag and Shyamsundar Pattanaik – will probably be felicitated for his or her contribution to fields of music and artwork respectively. While Nag will probably be awarded the Ila Panda Sangeet Samman, Pattanaik can be felicitated with Ila Panda Chitrakala Samman. The awards comprise a money award of `1,50,000 and a quotation.
