The Uttar Pradesh authorities has signed a concession settlement with representatives of Zurich Airport International for designing, constructing and working Noida International Airport at Jewar for a interval of 40 years. The airport will probably be developed as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and is scheduled to open in 2024.

The ‘concession settlement’ for the Greenfield airport, estimated to value Rs 29,560 crores, was inked between the Uttar Pradesh authorities’s company and the Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a particular goal car floated by the Zurich Airport for the venture.
