The 2nd version of India, Singapore and Thailand Trilateral Maritime Exercise SITMEX-20 was carried out from within the Andaman Sea. The 2020 version of the train is being hosted by Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). Indian Navy (IN) Ships together with indigenously constructed ASW corvette Kamorta and missile corvette Karmuk participated within the train.

About SITMEX:
The SITMEX sequence of workout routines are carried out to reinforce mutual inter-operability between IN, RSN and Royal Thai Navy (RTN) and likewise strengthen mutual confidence and develop widespread understanding and procedures in the direction of enhancing the general maritime safety within the area.
