Mastercard and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have collaborated beneath Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative (W-GDP) to launch ‘Project Kirana’ in India, to assist girls entrepreneurs develop and thrive.

About Project Kirana:
Project Kirana is a two-year programme, and initially, will probably be rolled out in choose cities of Uttar Pradesh, together with Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi. The programme might be carried out by DAI Digital Frontiers and ACCESS Development Services.
The goal of Project Kirana:
- Build monetary and digital literacy abilities;
- Improve primary enterprise administration abilities together with stock administration, accounting, price range administration and buyer loyalty;
- Addressing cultural and different boundaries to girls changing into profitable Kirana entrepreneurs;
