The tenth version of prestigious National science movie pageant kicked off on twenty fourth November 2020 in a digital mode. The four-day lengthy movie pageant has been collectively organized by Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous company underneath the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and the Tripura State Council of Science and Technology, Govt. of Tripura from 24 to 27 November 2020. The science movie pageant presents a singular platform to showcase the science movies made by professionals, newbie and pupil filmmakers underneath numerous themes, to advertise science movies in India.

A complete of 372 movies in numerous languages had been acquired for participation, of which 115 movies have been shortlisted by the ten-member jury to be screened throughout the pageant. These movies are in Hindi, English, Urdu, Malayalam, Kashmiri, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi and Tamil languages.
