Arabic Language Day noticed globally on 18 December



UN Arabic Language Day is noticed yearly on December 18 yearly. The day was established by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2010 to have fun multilingualism and cultural variety in addition to to advertise equal use of all six of its official languages all through the Organization. December 18 was chosen because the date for the Arabic language as it’s “the day in 1973 when the General Assembly authorized Arabic as an official UN language “.
