Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the International Bharathi Festival 2020 by video conferencing. The pageant was organised by Vanavil Cultural Centre in Chennai to have a good time the 138th start anniversary of Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi, an eminent author, poet and journalist from Tamil Nadu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi additionally conferred the 2020 Bharathi Award to the famous author Seeni Viswanathan, who’s credited with compiling the voluminous works of Bharathi in chronological order. The Bharathi Award is conferred yearly since 1994, to eminent individuals who’ve completed laudable service in any subject of social relevance.
