The Sports Ministry has accredited the inclusion of 4 indigenous Games to be part of Khelo India Youth Games 2021, which is scheduled to be held in Haryana. The 4 new video games are, Gatka, Kalaripayattu, Thang-Ta and Mallakhamba. The 4 chosen video games signify totally different components of the nation and can get nationwide recognition with the assistance of the Khelo India Youth Games 2021.

Place of origin of the newly inducted video games
- Kalaripayattu has its origin from Kerala.
- Mallakhamba is practised in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
- Gatka originates from Punjab. It is a standard combating model of the Nihang Sikh Warriors, used each as self-defence in addition to a sport.
- Thang-Ta is a Manipur martial artwork.
