CARE Ratings has revised downwards its projection of the Centre’s fiscal deficit to 7.8 % of GDP throughout FY21 towards its earlier estimate of 9-9.5 %. The mixed impact of decrease revenues & larger expenditure is prone to push the fiscal deficit to 7.8% of GDP.
