Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare digitally chaired the 148th session of WHO Executive Board, by way of Video Conference. The 148th session of the Executive Board has been organised from 18-26 January 2021.

The assembly supplies a platform to deliver collectively all member states to set the instructions and agenda and proceed striving for the target of Health as a state of full bodily, psychological and social well-being and never merely the absence of illness or infirmity. Also, the WHO has declared the Year 2021 because the Year of Global Solidarity and Survival.
