National Youth Day: 12 January



National Youth Day is well known in India yearly on 12 January to commemorate the beginning anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The day was declared by the Government of India in 1984 whereas the occasion was first celebrated in 1985.  The foremost purpose behind that is to be sure that the scholars throughout the nation may be inspired to be taught concerning the life, the concepts and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and apply them of their lives.

In 2021, we’re observing 158th beginning anniversary of Swami Vivekanand (12 January 1863). The theme for National Youth Day 2021 is ‘Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building‘.
