The second version of Indian Navy (IN) – Bangladesh Navy (BN) Bilateral Exercise Bongosagar commences in Northern Bay of Bengal. Exercise Bongosagar, is geared toward creating inter-operability and joint operational expertise by way of conduct of a large spectrum of maritime workout routines and operations.

In the 2nd version of Bilateral Exercise Bongosagar, ships from each navies will take part in floor warfare drills, seamanship evolutions and helicopter operations. This train will likely be adopted by the third version of IN – BN Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) in Northern Bay of Bengal from 4 to five October 2020, whereby IN and BN items will undertake joint patrolling alongside the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).
