Russia efficiently test-fired a Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missile within the Arctic. the frigate Admiral Gorshkov within the White Sea fired a Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missile, hitting a naval goal 450 km away within the Barents Sea at a velocity of over Mach 8.

In early January, the identical frigate test-fired a Tsirkon missile for the primary time, placing a floor goal over 500 km away. Last month, the warship deployed within the White Sea destroyed a naval goal within the Barents Sea with a Tsirkon missile.
