The Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a US $4.21 million undertaking readiness financing (PRF) facility for the preparation of infrastructure improvement initiatives to enhance city facilities and develop tourism infrastructure in Tripura. This is ADB’s first PRF facility for a state within the northeastern area of India.

About PRF facility:
- The facility will assist the Tripura Government’s priorities of enhancing city providers and tourism infrastructure that can assist increase financial improvement.
- The facility goals to make sure excessive readiness of ensuing infrastructure initiatives by feasibility research, getting ready detailed engineering designs, and capability constructing of state-level businesses whereas making certain local weather and catastrophe resilience and sustainability of sub-projects.
