Hyderabad Recognised as ‘2020 Tree City of the World’



Telangana’s capital, Hyderabad has been acknowledged as a 2020 Tree City of World, by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Arbor Day Foundation, for its dedication to rising and sustaining city forests. Hyderabad is the one metropolis from India to have been acknowledged as a Tree City, so far. With this recognition, it has joined a community of like-minded international cities that recognise the significance of bushes in constructing wholesome, resilient and pleased cities.
