Noted Bengali poet, Shankha Ghosh has handed away following COVID-19 problems. He was recognized by his pen identify Kuntak. He was honoured with quite a few awards for his contribution to Bengali literature, a few of which incorporates: Padma Bhushan in 2011, the Jnanpith Award in 2016, and the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1977 for his ebook ‘Babarer Prarthana‘, in addition to Saraswati Samman and Rabindra Puraskar amongst different awards.
