Water Sports and Adventure Institute (WSAI) has been established by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Tehri Dam in Uttarakhand. The institute was inaugurated on Friday by Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju. ITBP’s Mountaineering and Skiing Institute at Auli will independently run this establishment, which is able to impart coaching in aero, water and land-related sports activities and journey actions.

Training in kayaking, rowing, canoeing, water snowboarding, para-gliding, para-sailing, scuba diving, paddle boating, pace boating, kite browsing, jet snowboarding, and many others, can even be offered at this institute.
