Former Australia Test all-rounder, Eric Freeman has handed away. He made his Test debut in opposition to India on the Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground) in 1968 throughout which his opening scoring shot was a six, and he grew to become the primary participant to attain the feat.

Freeman acquired the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2002 for his providers to sport. After retiring from cricket within the 1973-74 season he took up the profession as administrator, coach and broadcaster. Freeman was additionally an elite soccer participant, representing Port Adelaide and he topped the membership’s goalkicking checklist in all 5 of his full seasons.
