The SoftBank-backed mobility platform, Ola has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu authorities, to arrange its first manufacturing unit within the state, at an funding of Rs 2,400 crore. Upon completion, the Ola manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu would be the largest scooter manufacturing facility on the planet.
